Comfortable with Uncomfortable...

How far are you willing to push yourself physically? Are you afraid to push into an uncomfortable stage? If so why? I challenge you to tap into uncomfortable, whether its for 10 sec or 5 min. Everyone is different as to what their body and brain will tolerate, but I GUARANTEE YOU, YOUR BRAIN QUITS BEFORE YOUR BODY. I want you to taste it, feel it, and I want you to embrace the moment afterwards. You may be asking yourself, how do i do this? Many ways...sprint up a hill until you can no longer move forward, perform as many unbroken push ups as you can with no break followed by as many air squats as you can perform unbroken, then sprint 400m as fast as your legs will take you, lift a rock from the ground to overhead until you cant pick it off the ground anymore. Breath it in, embrace it, taste it....the feeling is addicting, its a drug, one that will make you stronger, mentally and physically, which WILL prove helpful in all aspects of life.

Food QUALITY Part I

Clean happiness

The European Union refuses to buy U.S. chicken
Few people realize that the European Union has banned the import of all US poultry since 1997. This month, EU agriculture ministers voted to continue the ban despite aggressive pressure from the United States. The issue? The standard practice in the US poultry industry is to wash the carcasses in chlorinated water to kill bacteria.

European health authorities are not convinced that it’s safe to ingest the small amounts of chlorine that remain on the meat and concluded that lifting the ban would “threaten the community’s entire set of food production standards.”

John Bowis from the UK was more outspoken. He told reporters that “lifting the ban would be “outrageous” and would degrade EU citizens to the status of “guinea pigs.”

Meanwhile, hundreds of millions of US citizens are unwittingly playing that role.

“EU Ban Remains on US Chickens” December 19, 2008, Meatprocess.com

**That is no surprise to me, there are numerous other reasons they dont buy our chickens. If you have ever seen the conditions that the chickens live in here in the U.S. you would understand why. They stand in 4 inches of their own shit all day, everyday, they recieve zero sunlight, and are fed so heavily their legs are not strong enough to support their bodies, so they walk for a few sec and fall (into their own shit). They are packed so tightly into cramped quarters that they have no room to even move. Hundreds die everyday from this environment but that is just factored as a part of business. Four major chicken producers provide 80% of the nations chicken, they are Smithfield, Tyson, Purdue and one other, i forgot. These four producers all follow these practices. For proof of that, because I am sure their are doubters, watch Food Inc. sometime, but dont plan on eating afterwards. Another thing you could do is ask anyone of these companies for a tour of their facilities, you will get a NO 100% of the time**

Eat local, eat organic, eat free range.
