New members at OPT...

Brendan Cotter- 29 yo attorney from Clinton NY. Avid runner, 15-20 miles per week, good body composition, has completed a handful of Boilermaker runs(13k) and spends all summer water skiiing (Im jealous). Brendan experienced his first crossfit workout which lasted 6 minutes. Brendan was strong but functional movements were an eye opener to him. After completing the workout he said "that was harder than any boilermaker I have ever run but it felt great". Brendan is committing to OPT starting next week. We will be implementing some diet changes and continuing to push Brendan to new limits here at OPT. Welcome.

Ben Quilty - 26 yo, business man, ha I have no idea what you do bro. Ben is one of the original warriors from OPT. I trained Ben for 2 years before his decision to pursue his masters in NYC. Well Ben is back....he has continued to train for the last two years in NYC and we are looking forward to having him back at OPT. I have high expectations for you! Ben, I will never forget the moments we spent at the old school Y in SU, experimenting with Crossfit, getting asked "what in the hell are you guys doing", not caring what the globogymers thought, our 20 min walks to our cars afterwards because our legs would not function properly, awesome. The friend that you have considering coming to OPT, drag him in the door....trust me, he will never look back. And Erik Quilty, I know you are reading this....i wouldnt let your bro get too much of a head start on you....because you will never catch him!

  1. lets point out a couple mistakes in your post joshua. first, the boilermaker is a 15K. second, the old school Y is in downtown syracuse, not su. third, crossfit is about competing with yourself....and the fun is the community. ha! i will give ben one thing...he does have a huge head start with his home gym. soon enough my friend. maybe i will invite you over once i complete it. 30 pullup PR today...not bad.
