You have to WANT it
I meet new people everyday. We talk about training, eating and living a healthy lifestyle. I meet many people who look for any excuse to get out of training and/or eating well.... I work long hours, i have kids, i have no time, its hard, 5 A.M. is too early, i dont know what to do at the gym, i'm already skinny, blah blah.
You have to WANT IT...if you are the person who comes up with excuses and avoids getting uncomfortable in your workout (if you workout at all), or is just a lazy piece of shit then you will never make progress. I know individuals who workout at 4am, shower, go work a 12 hour shift, come home and hit another workout before bed, on the days Coach gives us a double. I know soldiers who will patrol the streets in Iraq for 24 hour shifts, come home, do their crossfit workout and finally go to bed. Soldiers who have NO equipment, other than ammo cans, and sandbags, they still find a way to workout. We have an athlete who was caught in a sandstorm for days with his platoon, managed to find enough equipment to complete his workouts for the day, working on no sleep or food. Another athlete is a student that doesnt have a garage for his equipment and his local gym doesnt allow crossfitters so he carries ALL his equipment in the back of his SUV, and does the workouts in parking lots, he doesnt give s shit that people are starring at him or that its raining out so he cant hang onto the pullup bar at the local parks monkey bars. HE GETS THE WORK DONE. We have an athlete who will go to her globogym after a stressful day of work, run 5 miles and still ATTEND her class at OPT that evening.
THESE PEOPLE WANT IT.
